As the Project Owner for 2rt Studio, I led the 0 to 1 launch of a GenAI physical product and monetization strategy over 10 months. I combined AI, AR and lenticular tech to bring digital innovation into physical products, resulting in a 161% increase in total sales. By working closely with engineers, artists, and sales teams, I defined the roadmap and successfully brought this new AI enhanced commerce experience to life.

Selling "New Tech" with 0 Budget

Period: 10 months

Background: It started with a technical handoff: ComfyUI workflows, prism optics, and UV printing. Partnering with an Optical Physics PhD.

Mission: transform these technical assets into a market ready product. No budget, just design driven problem solving.

To find our direction, I analyzed top selling art prints across the market. Using various GenAI models, I generated a range of images inspired by these winning styles. It was a fast, data backed way to build our initial collection.

5 Months on Facebook Marketplace, 300 customers, 300 interviews.

We didn’t just collect data, we treated every sale as a deep dive.

We moved beyond the "what" and finally uncovered the “why” behind their purchase decisions.

I leveraged multiple GenAI models to generate diverse visual styles, paired with AI animated videos designed to evoke deep user empathy. To bring these digital creations into the physical world, I utilized a multi sensory media mix: lenticular technology, AI simulated 3D textured prints, and NFC enabled stickers with AR function.

"Faking" the Gallery

Then, we did something crazy. We "faked" a gallery and entered an art exhibition to get raw, high-density feedback. We had two challenges to face: Would the art world reject us, or were we witnessing the start of a new history?

Through a series of physical exhibitions, I turned a foot traffic of nearly 100,000 visitors into a massive live laboratory. By testing different product samples, engaging in direct conversations, and even observing subtle micro expressions, we gathered the high density data needed to truly decode customer preferences. This hands on research allowed us to iterate with precision, leading to a 160% revenue increase within just 12 months.

Scaling through Generative Systems

Once the best sellers were identified, a Processing Art Portal was developed to automate the workflow. Any landscape image uploaded to the portal now auto generates production ready files.
